# Acceptable use & abuse response

> SOAX's acceptable use summary, abuse reporting, and review process.

**Report suspected misuse using our [abuse reporting form](https://forms.soax.com/report-abuse) or email [support@soax.com](mailto:support@soax.com).** Tell us what happened, when it happened (including the timezone), and which addresses or services were involved. Share only relevant details, without credentials or unrelated personal information. For concerns about device participation, see [Network sourcing & consent](/trust/network-sourcing.md).

## Acceptable use

Use SOAX lawfully and follow our acceptable use rules.

Do not use SOAX for fraud, phishing, spam, malware, unauthorized account access, or traffic that disrupts services. Abusive automation, unlawful use of personal or stolen data, deceptive commercial practices, and exploitation of people are also prohibited.

Do not bypass SOAX's identity checks or access controls, or probe the platform without written authorization. Reselling or redistributing access requires prior written consent.

See the [Acceptable Use Policy](https://soax.com/legal/terms-of-use#part-b-acceptable-use-policy-aup) for the full rules.

## How we assess concerns

We review the information available to understand what happened, whether it is connected to SOAX, and how it affects others.

Proxy monitoring does not give us a complete picture of every activity or use case. Our [Privacy Policy](https://soax.com/legal/privacy-policy) explains how we handle data.

## What happens next

We may ask for more information or verification, restrict access to a destination or feature, or suspend or end access. We aim to address the underlying issue without unnecessarily affecting unrelated use. Temporary restrictions may be needed while we investigate.

To protect privacy, confidentiality, and security, we may limit the information we share with the person who reported the issue.

If you think a restriction is a mistake, contact support with your account or request reference and the details you would like us to review. See the [Billing and Refund Policy](https://soax.com/legal/terms-of-use#part-c-billing-and-refund-policy) for how restrictions or termination affect charges and credits.
